Why We Program in Cycles (and What That Means for You)

You may have noticed our classes follow a rhythm: some weeks are heavy, some are about speed, and every so often we pull back. That’s not random, it’s periodization.

The cycle

  • Accumulation — build volume and work capacity.
  • Intensification — heavier loads, lower reps.
  • Deload — planned recovery so you come back stronger.

Trust the deload weeks. They’re where the adaptation actually happens.
